I don’t think I’ll ever understand Gogo In-flight Wi-Fi pricing. I bought a full-day Gogo Wi-Fi pass for $19.99 on the way out to San Jose, CA. On the way back, that same all-day pass is $39.99. Why? Did the number of hours in a day change? What possible justification does Gogo have for charging so much for Wi-Fi?
It sounds absurd to me, but is it the flight segment order? Here is my travel itinerary:
Sunday, June 4
- St. Louis (STL) to Dallas/Ft. Worth (DFW)
- Dallas/Ft. Worth (DFW) to San Jose (SJC)
Wednesday, June 7
- San Jose (SJC) to Dallas/Ft. Worth (DFW)
- Dallas/Ft. Worth (DFW) to St. Louis (STL)
Here’s what I do know: we are halfway through 2017 and still have third-world internet on airplanes with first-world prices.
