Like most of the internet, I had learned that MF DOOM, a/k/a, Daniel Dumile, had passed on December 31, 2020. Tributes immediately came pouring in all over social media (Twitter and Instagram, mostly) - stories about when people met DOOM, what it was like to work with DOOM, and just what kind of a guy DOOM was behind the mask.
A few months later, I was on YouTube and saw my favorite tribute yet - a 3 minute and 31 second track from Lice - (Aesop Rock & Homeboy Sandman):
