What, you think Putin is content with letting the West win the sanctions war against Russia and her people and not try to one-up the whole globe?

Russian State Duma Deputy Yevgeny Fedorov has proposed a 10-year ban on the work of foreign companies that will not return to the country's market until May 1.
I just don't understand this move. My brain hurts for those innocent Russian citizens who are held hostage by a literal madman. At this point, I wonder why any multinational corporation would head back to do business with Putin/Russia?
